Windows firewall is and has been disabled, still got the same issue. Not sure when we will be upgrading another customer to R12 but I will see if I can replicate the issue then.
I've tried upgrade through upgrade wizard. Fails. I've tried resetting security settings and it's the same deal. We are going to SD upgrade on Monday.
Also getting this error when trying to sync database,
Wonder if these issues are 12.1 specific....
Decided finally upgrade our Lab Primary server to 12.1 by moving it from an Avaya-provided server to our VMware environment.
An issue I ran into was I couldn't upload the VMPRO backup (otherbackups folder). I can select it in 7071 and press "ok" but it does nothing. I had to manually upload...
Unplug the Avaya Vantage phone, walk over to the nearest window, toss the phone out. Get into your vehicle and run over the Avaya Vantage phone several times, and then toss it in the trash.

Yep. 256GB baby! I've used this drive for other upgrades to 11.1 multiple times.
Rufus wipes the drive during creation so nothing else other than R12 on it. Spoke with Avaya and asked, did you guys test this on a HP Proliant server (avaya-provided) and they said "don't know... no"
Has anyone upgraded their HP Proliant (Avaya-provided) server from R11.1.3.1 to R12 yet?
The log is showing a bunch of errors with some of files and then it just ends in "Pane is dead" at the bottom, which does nothing. It's like it can't read or pull some of the files.
I used Rufus 4.6...
It's a common mistake, our materials department orders those phones before and caused a lot of headaches trying to find out what the hell was going on.
Think the only way is to check the back of the phones. Just look at one that is working and another that is not working. The phone that is...
