Just installed the patch to go from 5.7 to 5.7.5 for the reports bug fix and all terminals including virtual terminal are freezing and running very slow, I could not open the log files which are at 40mb, and it seems that there might be services turned on that were not before as the terminals...

Is there any way to have it closed to zero or have the it closed when the card is closed out instead of leaving a pending charge ? It is getting daunting replying to customers and having to explain the pending charge

I have been having an issue with customers saying that they are getting double charged, what is actually happening is one is an authorization that drops off, but would like to find a way that that authorization does not show up in the first place. We are a bar so most transactions begin with...

ok, got it. I was trying to do it with an open amt and voiding it as it was a very large tab, decided to just create a menu item with the amount. Thank you !

I am, Res3700 5.6 and it will not let me do a void without an associated item, I even tried creating a sale, putting a void against it, and then deleting the original item and it tells me I need to remove the void first. Any other Ideas ?

I had to force close a check and the sales number still shows in totals and I want to create a negative sale to balance it out, how is this done ?
