I just wanted to update those who might be interested. I was able make this work by using spare sets connected to unused ports. Below is the programming flow.
X222 has lines 1 to 4 assigned as A&R
X224 has lines 1 to 4 assigned as A&R
Both 222 and 224 are FNA to NONE
X250 has lines 1 & 2...
I think I am going to try the answer DN scenario. I just want to make sure I have something clear. Do I assign both answer DN keys on each phone exts 222,224? How does the user log into their new mailboxes 250,251? I am using an auto dial key with F981 for easy mailbox login.
The customer has downsized and the don't want to use the AA. I have used answer dn in the past to solve a lot of issues. I just want to make sure I have the programming correct. I would program say ext 242 with lines 1&2 to app&ring, fwd no answer to cp dn. Program ext 243 with lines 3&4 to...
I have installed a call pilot 150 on a norstar mics. The customer has 4 lines that app&ring on 6 phones. They want 2 mailboxes. They want lines 1&2 to ring no answer to mailbox 222 and lines 3&4 to ring no answer to mailbox 224. The only way I was able to make that work is to have lines 1&2...
I have been tasked with installing a call pilot system on a Norstar MICS. This is a move or reinstall. I am a little rusty with call pilot. I have only done new installs and have used a phone and also connected with a cross over cable for programming. What would be the best way to connect and...
I now have 2 possible avenues to resolve this issue. I don't want to change any programming at this time. I would like to get a second opinion on removing the SREF in DDB. Also I would like to get an answer to that question KCFLHRC asked. "What processor do you have?" I am not sure. Is there a...
From my past experience I tend to agree with KCFLHRC. "If loop 3 isn't taking any clocking errors then the issue is definitely not with the clocking source
Don't know 100% what the PRI source is. I have asked IT for a list of circuit numbers and what loops they are connected to. I have also asked if any Nortel TMDI cards are connected to there network. I have had no response from that request. From the feedback I am getting, the Nortel switch is...
If taking the TMDI completely down, unseating it and then bringing it back into service doesn't fix the problem, I would try a manual INI (warm start) before I would try a sysload (cold start). I am not sure what processor I have. Is there a command that will tell me that?
Yes, I had to use the RST TMDI command several times on loop 3 to get it to enable. Back to loop 7, do you guys think I should try to disable and enable the TMDI SW and see if it needs to adjust to it's new reality? As far as what history I am getting from IT, that system has not had clocking...

I am not sure what the whole story is of the clocking issue. From all the work I have done on this system I know there was a bonehead of a technician that came before me! No new programming. I was tasked to correct the clocking problem when I found out that there was no clock controller daughter...
I have been tasked with fixing a clocking problem on a CS1000 (opt.11) cabinet. I installed a clock controller daughter board on loop 3 the primary clock, 7 is the secondary. All went well with the install. Clocking is enabled and locked to loop 3. I am not getting any SLIPD on that loop. I...
I have checked 3 of the 6 Pri cards and have not found the CC DB. I was going to check the other 3 cards to see if who ever worked on the system before me might have moved it to a loop other than the primary or secondary. I now have the IT boss saying fix it ASAP. Should I continue to look for...
loop 7 is working and has been sense I discovered the clocking issue. I had a problem with loop 3 down but enabled it. Now both loops 3 & 7 are online.
