I remember struggling with this many years ago. cannot remember how exactly i resolved. Couple of things i would suggest are
1. Try toggling SUPV on and off
2. try setting up as a tie with Sigl = lop
You should add a DMI to your RLI where the tie line is selected and insert a 9.
Just trying to remember of the top of my head.
1 Go into ld 86 and build a new DGT with an insert of 9
2.In LD 86 change your RLB with the entry for the Tie line and put the DGT number under DMI.
You need to miss a pair between each unit.
Unit 0 = White/Blu Blu/White
Unit 1 = White/Grn Grn/White
Unit 2 = White/Slt Slt/White
Unit 3 = Red/Org Org/Red
Unit 4 = Red/Brn Brn/Red
Unit 5 = Blk/Blu Blu/Blk
Unit 6 = Blk/Grn Grn Blk
Unit 7 = Blk/Slate Slate/Blk

Sizbut I do not have a J100Supgrade file but defaulting like you described...
Hey guys,
Finally got back to trying to get my J179 working on my IP office. I currently have 9608 telephones on the system in SIP mode with a very limited feature set. Upgraded to version 11 and ordered a J179 telephone to test and see what additional features I would get,
For whatever reason...

No responses yet huh. I have the same issue cannot get a J179 to register through the SBC. Have not worked on it much as of yet, was hoping to see some responses to your question.
Have you made any progress yet?
Just to confirm there are other analogs within the 2nd group, Loops 32 to 63 that can break dial tone? If so, I would try downloading the controller again if no joy, replace the network card.
When do these remotes disable? during midnight routines?
