We're attempting the MA41 install
We've uninstalled all versions and made sure nothing is being cached in the following path (for CMS r16 or r17): C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Avaya folder
We also rebooted after uninstalling...
Sorry.. we were at the 11th hour and curious for a quick fix! We thought the vendor would have provided the solution but they had no idea.. so we had to figure it out on our own. I'm gonna note that for when I'm not so spent and work it through.

We did disable nr-registration on the network regions currently in the old system.
However, that "kicked" the currently registered users off the old system...but not necessarily disallowed new registrations.
We wanted it to be a more "soft" process.. but it didn't look like that could be an option.

We just cut fro 5.2 to CM 7. They're both still up but we'd like to disallow new registrations to the old CM 5. Is there a way to do that without taking the system offline?

I've seen videos on how to set up FP Traps to SEND SNMP alarms.. but we have polling servers that I need to administer in the CM/AAM, etc.
I believe this is performed via the "Access" menu. Is this correct?

That did it! I restarted the DRF Master.. which in turn looks like it restarted the DRF local, as well. I was able to get back to the screen with the Backup Device name and it was then populated!
I updated the password and ran a manual backup.

I'm trying to update the SFTP password but the Backup device name field is grayed out and my changes won't save unless that field is populated.

While performing traceSM and upon receiving logs from our SBC folks... we've found that our traces are showing G.729 (see attachment) but ALL of our codecs are programmed in the CM to use G.711MU, first. The SBC’s are also programmed for G.711MU.

Go to Reports --> Historical tab --> Agent --> AUX Monthly
You also have the AUX Interval and AUX Daily reports to drill down even further.
It could be the environment, too.. or yes, the far-end. I just know I've been asked to attempt this setting change. I just don't want to hork prod if I change this setting at 8am instead of during the maint window.
