After reviewing the stats on this card, I realized that this is not what I need. I need more analog trunks, not expansions. I'll have to exchange the card.
Hello all,
IPO 9.1, IP 500 V2 with a COMBO6210/ATM4 V2 card in expansion port 1. I installed a Phone 2 card in expansion port 2. Manager sees the card, but I don't see the two new analog lines from this card. Card is flashing orange. Am I missing a step in the setup or did I just get a bum card?
Added the SMTP filter to the Monitor and saw this:
570559mS SMTP: Expected to receive 334, but received response of 504, or an ill-formed response
So I unchecked Server Requires Authentication and BAM! VM to Email was sent.
Thanks TTTommy!
This is 9.1.12. SMTP configuration is pointing to the Exchange server IP address, set for port 25, account with credentials has been entered.
DNS and IP routing have both been confirmed. I have changed the settings several times (trying other e-mail addresses on the Exchange), which causes the...
I can't seem to get this IPO 500 to send VMs to email. Using Embedded Voicemail in IP Office Mode in IPO 9.1.
I looked in the Monitor and found this...

That would be great, except they need to be able to answer different extensions. If I use this method, I would have to program pages worth of buttons. I need to set up a button on user phones that will allow them to answer calls ringing to different specific extensions each time the button is...
I've been tasked with setting up a button on user phones that will allow them to answer calls ringing to specific extensions. I have tried using the short code *32*N#, but immediately after prompting for the extension to be entered, it says "Invalid entry" and hangs up. I also can't seem to find...
So after all of this, the cause of all of this trouble was the end users using Call Pickup and not owning up to it. Sheesh! Thanks for your help everyone!
Forwarding was my first thought, but there is no forwarding on the extensions in office A.
AA setup is pretty simple. Press option 1 or 2 to go to office A's HG. The HG has a queue with one extension and overflows to another HG with a queue with 4 extensions in the same office. The calls that...
System status tells me nothing. I can watch the calls go to the correct HG, but it's ringing an extension not in the HG. I'll try a system monitor, see if I can get lucky enough to capture one.
I am the maintainer. :P
The AAs are set correctly with the HG for the correct office. Group contains only the extensions from that office.
I guess I could try to monitor trace it, but it's an intermittent issue, maybe 5% of total call volume.
Client has IP Office 9.0.12 on a PBX with a PRI. External calls come in to AAs which then route the calls to the appropriate HGs. However, some of the calls are ringing extensions that are not in the hunt group. The calls show up for extensions in other hunt groups. So if someone calls office A...
