I have added an Algo 3228 to a CICS Rev:2.0.
As the 3228 requires and analog port, I used the IATA on port 117.
I configured port 117: No lines, 1-I/C, H/F with a ring down INTL to ext 21.Everything works perfectly on the 1st call. After hanging up the Norstar, the Algo's red light button...
Removed the codes and re-plugged the CP100. Same thing. Feature 9*1 returns to time & date. All other feature codes say "inactive feature"
I think the PCMCIA card is corrupt. Any thoughts out there?
F**XFTEST allows me to test if the codes are working. Each code says "OK" and gives a hex addrress. Yet, any feature code I try just goes back to date & time. I do not see how to remove codes and re-start to put normal.
I have an used Call Pilot 100 with Rev 3.0 software. It has been unplugged for at least 18 months. The CICS shows in maintenance that a STK1 is in IDLE on this port, but I can't get into the CP100. I've tried Feature: 983, 901, 9*1, 903 and 9*3. Every feature entry shows "inactive feature"...
Have a customer with a CICS rev.7.0. Caller ID shows correctly (514)555-1212. Caller log shows 555-1212(514). This prevents re-dial from caller log. Can't figure out why it does this.
Thank you everyone for your responses. Finally convinced the customer to come into the 21st century and changed him to VoIP, which does everything he can dream of.
Upgraded custome from 8x24 to MICS with their existing Flashtalk2. They claim on the old system ext. 234 was hard forwarded (Feature 4) to ext. 227 and if 227 did not answer it went to the voice mail of 227. I was always under the impression that if no answer on the forwarded number it goes to...
Installed a T7406e on a CICS Rev 4.1. The customer has 4 lines but only 3 appear on the cordless. In programming all 4 lines say "appear and ring". ANY IDEAS?
I have a customer with a MICS rev 7.0. Everything has worked for years. Suddenly, NO music on hold. Background music and on speakers still working. Changed "On Hold" to tones. That works fine. Changed it back to music. Dead air! Has anyone seen this before?
Before I go that drastic, a couple of local techs suggested it may be the power supply voltage fluctuating. Would that affect just internal calls and not external?
MICS with rev 6.0. Intercom to intercom sometimes do not go through. Other times 2-3 minutes into a station to station call, call will drop. Happens randomly whether from main cabinet to expansion or main to main or expansion to expansion. incoming and outgoing calls - no problem.
