Hello I have a norstar-plus MICS and need to replace the KSU, I am thinking of upgrading to something newer but most solutions involve going VoIP. I want to use my existing coper lines and phones, and have servers I can use. Is there a solution to use our PRI, server and current nortel phones...
Honestly I dont know and I have researched on how to find out but cant find any way to find out what version. I used the phone to try and find it but could only find the SYSID. and System version of 30BHG06
OK than ks for the info! I figured we might need a fast RAD at least. So after the back up and restore, I would use norstar remote utilities software to connect to the fast RAD to configure PBX?
Haha well maybe I left out an important part... I do not have a RAD. So the only way I can configure anything on the PBX is through the phones. I heard you can somehow perform a backup through the phones but I do not know how that would work or if it is accurate info. Thank you for any advice.

Yes I have turned off the music service and test called using no tones and tones and both sound fine, no static. lowered volume as well, even went through all audio tracks and converted to mono and lowered and raised compression and bit rate. Nothing I do seems to work, that's why I believe it...
