Making a new call with CSTA after a hold

I have three extensions (103, 110, and 111) managed by a Panasonic NCP PBX. I can manually do this sequence, and it works: [ol 1] Dial 110 from extension 103. Answer at 110. Place the call on hold at 103. Dial 111 from extension 103. Answer at 111. [/ol] But if I try to do what I think is the...

Incoming calls drop with static heard

I'm afraid I spoke too soon. It's not a problem with a bad port on the LCOT card. The problem happens regardless of which three ports I use, and it even happens if I have just one of the lines connected. If I disconnect a cable from the Comcast modem and call the number, it rings with no...

Incoming calls drop with static heard

It's looking like one of the four ports on our LCOT card is bad. I re-cabled the lines so that port was avoided, and things seem to be working better now.

Incoming calls drop with static heard

A little more information about this. If I disconnect the lines for numbers 2 and 3 from the LCOT card, the first number seems to function OK, unless I've just gotten lucky.

Incoming calls drop with static heard

We have a Panasonic NCP500 PBX with three incoming lines that correspond to three external numbers. This setup was just completed today, porting the three numbers from another carrier for which we used different hardware. Sometimes when a call comes in, everything is fine. But other times the...

What gets displayed when an external call comes in

We have several Panasonic phones controlled by a Panasonic NCP PBX. When an external call comes in, an incoming call distribution group causes all of the extensions to ring. What gets displayed at the extensions is the name if the ICD group and the phone number that was called; i.e., our phone...

Caller ID for outside calls received through a Panasonic KX-NCP500

I've looked at what I figured were the relevant settings in the Maintenance Console, and I didn't see anything that seemed awry. I'm a bit new to PBX configuration; where in the Maintenance Console should I look?

Caller ID for outside calls received through a Panasonic KX-NCP500

I have a Panasonic KX-NCP500 PBX set up so that calls coming in from the outside get routed to an incoming call distribution group that consists of three extensions. Right now all three extensions are on my desk. The calls ring the extensions like they're supposed to, but there is no caller id...

Trying to use a SIP client with a Panasonic NCP500

We have IP phones and trunk lines that are working, and the PBX has the V-SIPEXT32 (I think that's what it's called) virtual card. It seems that everything that needs to be there for this to work is there, so that's why I'm wondering if our license key doesn't allow the SIP functionality to work.

Trying to use a SIP client with a Panasonic NCP500

I'm trying to configure a Panasonic NCP500 PBX so it can work with people using PCs that have the 3CX phone client program, which uses SIP. The PBX has the V-SIPEXT32 virtual card, which I've moved into one of the virtual shelves. When I try to mark the extension INS (in service), I get a pop...
