Odd if I change them both to like.. 2 seconds or 3 it still dials like 0 when dialing extensions.
Put it on 4 it waits 4 seconds.
I don't know if I will use it in the end because it seems to add the delay to the SBM24 buttons. Even though they aren't really set to "dial" the extension but...
Is there any way to add a delay to the 3 digit dialing of extensions?
We have an ARS setup where you don't have to dial a 9.
It works great except when we try to dial a number like Austin 512-666-6666. it will dial extension 512 no matter how fast they dial the number.
I would like to add a 8...
What do you guys use to keep the cords from twisting up all the time?
I see these swivel things on amazon but they ALL have horrible reviews.
Anyone know of a good in line something I can put on my 9641G headset that keeps the cord from twisting up?
I changed "max bit rate" to 9600 under T38 settings and that made mine pretty stable using just a SIP ATA.
Have to make sure the ATA supports t38 and turn that on in the ata settings.
Also turn it on in the "fax transport" part of VOIP tab of the extension.
I have been messing with the Dial by name in IPO 9.0.3 and can't seem to get the false to work.
Example: someone gets into the dial by name menu and never hits anything or waits 15 seconds. how do I send them back to the main menu?
I don't see a timeout
We just got Comcast PRI and it works great.
It takes about a month to get. They ran a new Coax (thick) from the Comcast fiber convertor on the pole.
They wouldn't run it off the same Coax the internet runs off of. The give you your own modem for the PRI and bring it to an Adtran that converts to...
I tried 5 different SIP ata's to the ip office v500.
Tried going out a PRI, and a SIP trunk. (My trunks were never the problem as it works fine going through a combo card)
I tried about 5000 different combinations of settings (t38,g711 etc) and could never get the fax to work 100%.
Tried 4-5...
We have several small companies sharing one IPO. Is there a way to have the different companies download a different 46xxsettings.txt settings file?
This way I can apply a different screensaver logo to each company on the 9641G Phones.
You are Natting through a firewall right? And using a static WAN address?
If you connecting LAN2 directly to lets say a cable modem you would put your WAN address under LAN2-> LAN settings and set network topology to "open network" and not even put in a "public ip" under network topology.
If...
That's your local IP. of LAN2.
Network Topology is where you put your outside IP of firewall. (hopefully a static?)
The SIP line under (lines) is where you put your SIP providers IP.

check this out. Someone sent me this a while back.
You can make a simple 600ohm device by using 2 RJ45 keystone jacks. and those scotch crimp things. put them all in a 2 port keystone box.
Oh an several of these also.

I am using 9.0.3 and a combo port. If I crank my amp to 10 it would blast your eardrums out from 100 yards away with grinding metal/welding/forklifts/etc going on at the same time.
I go through a UTI1. (The only reason I use this is because it cuts off the line once it detects silence, or else...
OK so after weeks of changing 10000 different settings and combos I figured out the one thing that was messing up my SIP calls from bandwidth.com
I had it on "full cone nat" which is correct right??? It's a sonicwall with NAT. I did a 1 to 1 port to a static outside WAN IP.
Anyways I tried...
Ok so I took the sonicwall out of the picture and it works.
I hooked up the LAN2 directly to the internet modem and gave it the same outside IP I was natting through the firewall.
Something going through the sonicwall is messing it up. I don't have SIP transformation enabled.
I setup a 1:1 Nat...
