    hi, You can still burn a personal copy of Solaris 8 using nero. Create the cd image files first and then burn to your new CD. (Most of the time Diect cd copy wont work.)

    NFS advise needed

    you can ssh securecopy rather than nfs since mounting nfs outside need some UDP port to be open. If you still want to do it this way ..Mount the NFS disk using a NFS cache on your outside server. You need to open some UDP ports to do this and close the UDP ports after you have mount it. Good luck

    Hi , Please check all the running daemon and close unnecesary one (like nscd, sendmail, ldap client etc). I think you have mis-configured your system.
