I've never seen this before, the (WS5A) workstation display is fine for bios/post then when CE loads the display goes dark.
If I attach a VGA monitor, it shows desktop, etc. and I can move cursor using the touchscreen (even though the touchscreen display is not showing anything).
I did a CE...
Pretty sure we are doing everything correct. I'll post a pic with screenshots showing how we edit it to 10:30pm on 6/14, click ok (then choose the reason 'forgot clock out') and everything looks correct. However when we go back into that timecard it has reverted back (to 'out' at 4:04 am, which...
Hi,
Has anyone ever come across issue where adjusting an employee's punch out looks like it works but the change does not 'stick'? We are able to edit other employee's time cards however any changes we make to this particular employee's clock in/out's revert back to the un-adjusted times. We...
Not sure but it seems as though it may have something to do with another issue that is showing up in the 3700d log as an IFS process error "No TCP/IP server name specified". Still scratching my head though.
Hello everyone,
We recently 'moved' the server for one of our locations (currently shutdown for winter) to a new box (It is actually a fresh install upgraded to 5.4 MR2 using that locations license info, etc.) however after installing the same cc driver with the same configuration as the 'old'...
When trying to refund a credit card using 'Refund CC' macro one of our locations receives a "[p99] The Stored Value Card interface is not licensed" error (We do not use Micros' stored value / gift cards at any of our locations) when is would normally (all our other locations appear to use same...
I tried copying everything that was in the [\RES\CAL\] WS5A directory into the WS5 directory but the workstation failed model check when I tried to re-cal. I reverted the back to original contents of WS5 directory, copied only the contents of 'bitmaps' and 'ETC' sub-directories (from WS5A to...
I have a location with all workstation 5A's that recently bought a workstation 5 to add to their Micros 3700 layout.
I have gotten the workstation 5 to cal correctly however there are issues with missing screen templates, etc.
I was assuming I should copy everything that is in the Micros...
You can't know how helpful these breadcrumbs are, thanks.
Especially because I'm trying to figure the db out without Crystal Reports. I also keep hearing rumors of some 3700sql_man doc that would make my life easier, but that doc seems to be a bit of a unicorn.
Thanks again.
Yeah it definitely looks like writing to the table is bad idea on multiple levels. [scraps that idea] I hadn't looked at the time clock adjustment function, I'm in that odd (yet common to the IT world) place where I do not know, what I do not know, when it comes to Micros (for example...
I totally understand, I appreciate all the help you've been giving.
I'm friendly with one of the techs that worked on our installs and he said the same thing about the tool. Supposedly since about the time that Oracle purchased Micros (roughly since V5) they have been using distinct passwords...
Sorry I was just discussing how our above store grabs check detail with coworker before I wrote that email (also coffee hasn't fully kicked in yet). I did mean time card detail, I am staying as far away from that chk_dtl as possible. I'll edit the post.
I tried pwd of 'micros3700' for dba but...
Unfortunately I don't seem to be able to get write level access to *time card detail* table (stuck using u:custom p:custom), no matter what hoops I jump through. So I guess it is back to the stored procedure route, too bad I was really interested to see if it would work (first time I've had...
I suspect the answer to this will be.. "I really wouldn't write to that table", but...
Couldn't I create a "Clock in Salaried" button which would clock in/out an employee at the same time by recording "clk_out_date_tm" and "clk_out_gmt_date_tm" in time_card_dtl as NOW (clock in time) + 8hrs...
