I've got 4 NT-400 phones I need to initialise - Is the password to initialise the settings a Panasonic default one, or is it one that's been set from the previous phone system?
Thanks
Currently its G3V7i. We're looking at all possibilities CM / IP Office / something else completely.
It's not really being used for any features that an entry level phone system doesn't now have - so all options are open!
Looks like only a CM system would be able to use the existing phones...
We have an old Definity running with about 100 6408D+ phones - we need to replace the system, but is there new hardware that still supports the same phones so we don't have to replace those too?
Thanks.
Thanks. Did this at the weekend, all swapped ok.
One issue with the programming though.
When the card was in and tti back on, all the ports on the card config show as p.
Allocated port 1 (A0901 in the system) to an extension & everything was ok. Duplicated that extension to ports 2,3,& 4 - but...
Thanks very much for clarifying that. The board config does indeed show t's and numbers, so will need clearing.
It's currently showing:
01A09 BRI LINE TN556D 000001 t t t t 03 t t t
t t 06 t t t t t...
I'm slightly confused now... My understanding was that any card could go in any slot. We have nothing currently connected to the TN556, and would be connecting 6408D+ phones to the TN2214. Which part is not interchangeable?
Thanks!
We have a redundant TN556 BRI card in our system, and want to replace it with an additional TN2214 Digital card. Is it as simple as swapping the card and then programming the new extensions on the same 01A09xx that the BRI card was using?
Thanks!
