I don't have any call director mailbox licenses so can't use that. I'm looking to import the greeting straight into an extension mailbox. At the moment I have a cable plugged into my laptop from the handset port on the phone and having to dial into each mailbox and do it manually then play the...
Hi All
Is there a way of importing greetings into a mailbox on NuPoint??
I found this thread http://www.tek-tips.com/viewthread.cfm?qid=1737604 which makes me think I can transfer files about in the backend but wondered how everyone else would accomplish this seemingly simple task.
Many...
@mnpuckett
Getting the data isn't the problem it's getting it before the call has been completed.
@sarond
The samsung has options of what data to output and when. It is currently generating a record when the call is answered which is what I need the Mitel to replicate.
@Slapin, Not sure what to do with the exe in the zip file other than edit the config file. I have put my local IP in there and the PBX IP and then added a few DN's. When I run the monitor exe it has the right info in but has the following error message
Config Loaded
Local...
@Slapin, I don't have a great deal of experience in programming but would love to try and get this working.
If I could get a server to actively connect to a 3300 and get the info out in a CSV type format, like SMDR would then that would be great. I hate the fact a 17 year old Samsung DCS can do...
I'm pretty sure I already no the answer to this but thought it wouldn't hurt to ask on here.
I have a customer that wants to replace there very old Samsung system with a mitel so they can have resiliency. The one thing the Samsung does is output SMDR in realtime. They have a call logger that...
Inter flow to a multicall key which has a reroute always to vm. This then becomes your mailbox to set a MWI key for.
If you have hordesk users I just use key 96 as the multicall so,it's hidden from the users.
I have read that but this 1 controller is part of a cluster and the other 3 systems are on different subnets so without the LAN gateway they wouldn't route to each other.
I was hoping to setup the wan port on this controller to sync with the amc and set it as the dlm for the cluster.
I have...
I have an MXe III on the latest MCD 6 on a customer's site that can't give us access to the AMC from the voice vlan.
Can I use the wan port as an alternative route out???
I have plugged the wan port into a dedicated dsl router and it has an ip address, mask and gateway that I know will allow...
@joebrown123 - Any luck finding the culprit? I now have same issue on my laptop. Still running XP. Did not change a thing, but backups fail to transfer now from several controllers I've always backed up. Noticed the Java icon no longer appears in task bar like used to when on backup form...
Thanks for the reply LoopyLou.
I have read that doc your referring to but I need to keep the systems running standalone. From what I understand I will need to delete all the users from the element, remove it from the cluster and then recreate the users.
If I remove an element from the cluster...
What is the correct way to dissolve a cluster of 3300's on MCD 4.2??
I can't find a procedure on MOL or any of the supporting docs.
I have a cluster of 7 3300's that all need to be standalone and setup with inter site dialing via a PNI number instead. The customer isn't bothered about sharing...
No VLAN involved at all, correct? I've had issues on my laptop where a save would not complete across VLANs. "
Correct. Just my laptop and the vMCD server in a switch.
Thanks for all the suggestions but had to bite the bullet and reinstall windows yesterday. Unfortunately I didn't get a chance...
I know its a simple question but has the controller been rebooted?
Try to ftp to RTC address and go to /vmail/temp/db/archive and check if there is a file named ipera3k.dba If there is, you will be able to use this as a backup, rename it to a .tar file, this is where the backup is located...
Yes, but you still have to have the client service running on the laptop otherwise how will the MCD know where to send the file to?
MCD is the FTP server, laptop is the FTP client (known as FTP service in windows 7 parlance)
That is how I understand it anyway.
Its either that or run the...
