    Derek, Generally it would be easier to leave it alone. You can use this command to set the password to not expire: # chuser maxage=0 root Also you should do an s-tape backup that will allow you to recover the SDM in case a drive failed. - Dave

    Derek, The commands you performed are correct. Did you use a tape cleaner before inserting the tape.
