It might be just I didn't understand the term "renumber". It looked to me it is to logically move the slot/board number? But from other part it appears "renumber" is just to get the processor board to know what boards are there, correct?
We have the following:
Cabinet 1
0: Processor CKE5
1: 412 LS-TDL
2: 024 TDL
3: 016 TRR
4: 800 GL-ID
5: 800 DID
Cabinet 2
6: Merlin Messaging
Have never done adding boards. Do I just:
1) power all down
2) insert 024TDL to slot 7
3) power on
4) new board is recognized?
5) go renumber the 24 new...
I clicked buttons 1 all the way to 20.
1: Ext Ring -I
2: Ext Ring -I
3: Line 801 -I
4: Line 802 -I
5: Line 803 -I
All others are blank.
It seems we don't a pool setup? I looked it over in "Quick Access" > Calling Groups > Lines & Pools tab (outside standard SPM). Did not find anything about...
Hi TTT, I got to the point before "press pool button":
I don't know which one is pool button. The SPM screen is not the same as 4424LD+. The middle block has 5 buttons in a column on SPM but the phone has 6 buttons in each column.
Also I checked manual found *35 is for "No ring" option. Not...
System Program
Start
Extensions
Lines
Extension Number and Enter
Entry Mode
801 Enter
(if 801 is a part of Pool 70, that's all you have to assign to get a Pool Button that represents the entire pool)
Is above to be done with WinSPM or Stardard SPM (which you launch from within WInSPM)?
Then in...
We have a 016 T/R board. Several analog phones are on those ports. Some of them needs to dial 9 to get outside line some get outside when they go off hook (w/o 9). How do I change the ones that require 9 such that they would get outside line by going off hook? I have working winspm but I am not...
Still don't understand why auth code and forward statuses are still off, although it is working now (see red lines below). It is just a very screwy system but I don't care.
Thanks again TTT.
Extn SS/PP Type

Thanks. Adding 9 made it work for calls initiated from another extension. Did not work for outside calls transferred to that extension.
So I did #80 to enter the auth code at the actual phone (although it has been said it is not needed), then it worked for outside calls.
to TTT, I don't know what "Key Mode" is.
Regularly we don't dial 9 to get outside access. Just get off hook we have outside dial tone, and just dial the outside numbers. For internal calls to other extensions, we hit SA button then get off hook to get inside dial tone, and dial the other...
on 3. I did:
in SPM: sys program >> LineTrunks >> TT/LS Disc >> LS disconnect >> LS Reliable Disconnecting: Select One
Yes is already red. I selected Yes again anyway and Enter, Back all the way out.
Still the same.
Hi Tommy thanks for the response.
you haven't allowed
1. RCF
I did in SPM: sys program >> extensions >> Remote Frwd >> Remote Call Forward: enter extensions. Enter 222 and hit Enter. Does this take care of it?
2. and Trunk to Trunk for the extension
I did in SPM: sys program >> extensions >>...
Update:
Made some progress. Use #33 to enter forward number, at "forward to:" prompt, enter *13334445555# it is accepted by on the screen it only shows Forward:133344455 with last two digits cut off. Test calling and transfer to ext 222, got voice mail prompt. Never forwarding call.
I have a Merlin Magix R1.5 system. I am trying to set up remote call forwarding for an offsite employee. Say his ext is 222. When a call is transferred to 222, the call should be forwarded to his cell phone, w/o ringing his extension. I have WinSPM 5.0 for programming and searched this forum...
Thank you merlinman. I checked the "details" tab of a working and a problem extension. It was the coverage group 30 (103 does not work. 102 works). I added those two problem ext to coverage group 30 now they work. Kudo!
However I saw something that I do not understand. Before I added those two...
