I've already tried playing with the dtmf on/off times including maxing them out. They don't seem to effect the tone length in a call, but during dialing. (You can hear this if you monitor the line with a test set while it dials)
Sorry I didn't go into too much detail. I don't have any...
With a colleague in another office we tested this out on 3 systems running 10.0.0.3, and two running 9.0.3.0.
The 10.x systems both just give a chirp, but the 9.x systems work as I'd expect.
Waiting to hear back from Avaya support now
I've been having issues with a customer with a gate system not recognizing DTMF digits sent by their IPoffice.
Doing a little testing I'm finding that systems running 9.x will send DTMF tone as long as you hold down a button.
Systems running 10.x only send a short little burst of DTMF.
It...
I think this proves what it's sending is correct.. (From Monitor)

The only difference on mine I had the default of Dial3K1, so I changed that to dial but no difference.
While the call is up I looked at it in system status. It shows digits sent to central office as the 10 digit number I dialed. The "Caller ID sent from central office" shows *67 and then the...
Interesting. I didn't know about the W for withheld.
I just tried the same exact thing. Made an alternate ARS with 1NsW and NsW for the telephone numbers.
While the call completes, it does not withhold the caller ID. Any other variations to try, or is it likely the switch not following...
Is it possible to use *67 to block your caller ID on a per call basis over a PRI?
Short code of 9 grabs my main office PRI ARS table. It's pretty much a defualt entry that points to the line group id of the PRI.
It sounds like it's counting the *67 as 3 digits of the phone number, because...
Can I move my universal PRI card to a different base card in another slot without any major reprogramming?
Right now I have it sitting on a phone2 but want to move it over a slot to my digital8 card to free up that slot. We just bought the phone2 because it was the cheapest base card at the...
Ahh. It didn't even occur to me they were using the Windows Task Scheduler.
However when I look at the task in Windows, it looks like it's scheduled to run every day.
Whether I check "Include Weekends" in the CCR, I don't see a difference in how the task looks in windows.
I have the Avaya CCR running here set to spit out daily call summary reports.
I have the report set for one days worth of data, then the schedule to run daily at 6:00am.
My problem is, the report I get Monday morning is a blank report for Sunday (closed), not Friday.
Is there a workaround...
We're using this Blackbox "strobe" with our IP office:
http://www.blackbox.com/Store/Detail.aspx/Phone-Strobe/FM061
I actually have two of them on the same analog port and they work fine. They're just LED's so they're not as bright as a real xenon strobe but they're enough to get your attention.
I don't see a way to set them up in manager, but in the softphone itself you can right click the "feature" buttons to edit.
There's a "custom" button option that allows for a feature code, button label, and feature. But I have no idea what to put in for the "feature code options".
biv343,
I just got a couple 1230's working, but it always drove me nuts. The functionality of the phone on the IP Office just feels like something isn't quite right.
Have you seen this too?
Is it possible to put call appearance or line buttons on the softphone?
I know this isn't how it's supposed to work, I'm just trying to set it up on one softphone for monitoring purposes.
FWIW I have the IP Office Softphone 3.0. (Only one I could get working).
