Many thanks. What I need to know, before going through the hassle of upgrading to Indy 10, is if anyone has got SMTP to work with Hotmail? Glen Alcott seemed to think it should work with Indy 9, as you can talk to GMail, which Glen thought also required TLS. (I'm not sure he is right). His...- wbjb

In August 2010 galcott posted a query (on this forum) about how to use Indy 9 SMTP to send messages via Hotmail. See http://www.tek-tips.com/viewthread.cfm?qid=1615008 I have exactly this problem. I can work with GMail and any unencrypted SMTP server etc. I can set up an email client...- wbjb
