Not able to complete login - New Question

Each license allows one end point.

Not able to complete login - New Question

Not to sure what the end goal is but if you are trying to register a non-Avaya piece of equipment it would need a 3rd party license. The IPO will only Avaya phones to connect with a standard license.

Taking a backup off UC110 with WinSCP

Depending on the version SFTP may be disabled in Linux. I would put a monitor and keyboard on the UC and try to log in at that prompt. It has been so long since I worked on a UCM I don't remember if it uses a different root login or not.

    TekTips site redesign?

I lost some FAQs that I wrote in the shuffle too as well as some I used to refer to that were there. Most of the ones there are over a decade old and useless.

    No Free Channels

Something is attempting to use those IDs would be my guess. I would check you ARS and short codes.

Digital and Analog Modules upgrade from 7 to 11

It is the same basic instructions. The actual FAQ seems to have gone away with the update.

Digital and Analog Modules upgrade from 7 to 11

There used to be newer FAQs on the process but it looks like the newer ones might have got lost in translation to the new TT format. This older one is a basic explanation of the process. Difference being you connect to the DTE port of the module and use the same AT commands. It should get the...

Digital and Analog Modules upgrade from 7 to 11

Can't recall that I ever tried it but it shouldn't be a problem. Stepped upgrades usually are for maintaining the configuration integrity during the upgrade. The modules only hold firmware not any configuration. Worst case you will have to do a DTE recovery if it fails to upgrade.

    TekTips site redesign?

I am not a fan either. But I am also old and never too fond of change. It is harder to follow multiple groups with out a lot of surfing. So some groups I probably won't be following any more. Been here probably close to 20 years. But it is what it is. Get used to it or get off it.

    County Jail telephones

So much of that would have to do with the phone system. Most of the 'secure' style phones I have worked with do not have programmable dialers but I am sure they make them.

    Automated attendant setup path

First off it will take at least 38 seconds to transfer. You need to change the AA inactivity to 0 from 8. Is the extension 399 in DND? If not it isn't going to go to that VM until it's no answer also expires. But I am just guessing with out being able to see an SSA or monitor trace. Dermis...

    Lucent 7406 Plus / IPOffice

Yeah. It would be a Definity phone. IP Office doesn't support any four wire phones. Dermis and feline can be divorced by manifold methods.* *(Disclaimer for all advise given)--'Version Dependent'

It is called a page. Create a page group with a limit of 64 users and create a button or short code to page the group. Dermis and feline can be divorced by manifold methods.* *(Disclaimer for all advise given)--'Version Dependent'

Avaya IPO500 - analog line distance

@IamaSherpa I predate deregulation here in the states. The Bell corporation owned all the phones and phone systems. The maximum distance for Cat2 cabling for analog telephone is up to 24,000 feet (or 4.5 miles). -48VDC for talk battery and 90VAC for ring voltage is the Belcor standard I am...

Avaya IPO500 - analog line distance

@IamaSherpa The problem with the IPO is it uses 24V line voltage. It was never meant for OPX applications. Other phone systems I have worked with had actual OPX cards designed to be up to the Bellcore standards. Dermis and feline can be divorced by manifold methods.* *(Disclaimer for all...

Avaya IPO500 - analog line distance

I have used Viking RG-224 boosters in large production facilities that exceeded the length limits of the IPO. They bring the voltages up to a 4 REN on the bellcore standards. The RG-224 supports 24 analog stations. Viking also makes smaller units if you just need a few stations. Dermis and...

IP Office/Voicemail Pro Emergency close situation

I have set this up many times. Usually I create an unannounced option in the AA that directs to a weather toggle mod protected by a pin. In that mod it checks the current condition of the weather variable and announces it. Then points to the option to 1 turn it on, or 2 turn it off. Then...

    Dial delay count 0

Mixing 3 and 4 digit dial strings is going to be a headache no matter how you look at it. If 911 is your emergency number it is an even worse idea. I would explain it to the customer as a safety issue. Dermis and feline can be divorced by manifold methods.* *(Disclaimer for all advise...

    WAV File Name Length

I don't recall any limitations. Are you planning to using full sentences as file names or something? Maybe you need to add a little more information to the question. Dermis and feline can be divorced by manifold methods.* *(Disclaimer for all advise given)--'Version Dependent'
