The label "Voice Mail Direct" it stands for "Voice Mail Directory"....lack of available bits on the labeling field i guess...lol...also you can only add a name up to 8 characters when you try to label a name to an extension. damn is frustrating... yes is a good tool and it works fine. And the features on Avaya are great and clear to use for the users. the only strange issue i found is when you try co connect to the Media Server via http from a different Vlan, is very slow. it takes a while before it sends packages outside its own network...

hi kyle...you are right but the BEM is the interface you use to program the PBX including specific functions for each button on each phone you are deploying. Is the equivalent of Avaya Integrated Management Site Administration for Avaya PBXs.

yes it is...can't wait to scrap this system. Is a painful process even to check your call logs... I used Avaya for 4 years and Mitel for 3..no comparison..
