We've used both. TS by itself worked well when we needed to publish applications only to Windows or thin-client stations and mostly within the lan. When we needed load balancing (TS recently introduced rudimentary load balancing) and support for other platforms like Mac, we layered on Citrix...
The data collector keeps all of that information in a JET or SQL database. I download it through ODBC into an Excel spreadsheet and get a ton of stats. We're using XPe, and I don't know if the database is available in XPa.
We've been concerned about the user-setups too.
I'm wondering if you've seen performance issues with OO? It takes awhile to load up and I wonder if that is putting too much load on the servers.
What have you seen?
If you're doing this a lot, you might want to think about Conference Manager (no I do not work for Citrix..)

I've heard a lot about SP4 problems too.
If you can't roll back, here is the Microsoft patch I mentioned in my previous message in this thread:
KB824309
It did the trick, but it then BROKE our Centrinity FirstClass application... test it first.
For us, there was a delay from log-off request to saving of the roaming profile (as long as 3-4 minutes). We found a Microsoft patch that fixed it.
If I can find the patch number, I'll post it here...
Slow Mailbox backups are normal behaviour for any backup product. I believe that it has more to do with the structure of the information store than the backup product itself.
