    Removing Centrex lines

Thanks - If I don't have access to a printer with the information also appear on my pc screen and I can view from the screen? This is also assuming WinSPM will work. If not, I think I have found enough documentation that I can use the TUI.

    Removing Centrex lines

I found a copy of WinSPM - so if anyone can provide the steps using WinSPM that would help also.

    Removing Centrex lines

It's a Magix - would you be able to provide a cheat sheet guide to walk me through the process? I'll be doing through the admin phone. I am replacing the lines on Monday and just realized I missed this step. Thanks.

    Removing Centrex lines

I am taking out my Centrex lines and need to remove the Centrex access code (9) that is being inserted. Right now the users dial 9 + phone number and the Legend inserts another 9 for the Centrex. When I convert to non-Centrex how do I remove the 9?

Call Manager with at&t IP Flex

Agree with the internet firewall connection since that is outside the Call Manager control but what am I connecting the voice T1 portion of the IP Flex router to? I was thinking it would still go to the existing router which is essentially the PRI card on the phone system.

    IPK with at&t's IP Flex

MrTelecom1 - Sorry for the delayed response. We didn't get it working and left it on PRI. How did yours go? I have installed ipf on avaya, nortel, cisco, panasonic, shoretel and even some thers vut couldn't get it to work on Nec. It was a very olh unsupported software release.

    PRI connections

So if I have a cable going into the FE 0/0 and cables going into two T1 DSU/CSU cards what is my configuration? The site has one voice PRI and 2 data T1's. My original thought is 2 data T1's were going into the T1 DSU/CSU cards (partly because the cables going into the ports are the same color...

    Moving from Megacom800 to Readyline

I have an Avaya Legend system that currently uses Megacom 800 service. I am an 800# newbie so I'm not sure why I need a dedicated T1 but I believe I have one. Does each 800 call take 2 trunks? For a variety of reasons, I am moving to Readyline so that I can eliminate the dedicated T1 right...

    PRI connections

What interface is used to connect a PRI circuit to a Cisco Call Manager? The customer is remote and says it is on a 2811 router. I have seen it installed on a card within the CM. What is the difference?

    merlin magix

The more I read, the more I confuse myself. I am coming from Nortel world and to launch system admin I connect my pc to phone system (bcm) via lan cable/port. Is this similiar with WinSPM? As I read through sites it seems I have to connect via my modem port and dial in even if I am onsite? Is...

    WinSPM programming aid

I am changing services from PRI to IPflex. The IP FLex emulates the PRI configuration as long as the settings in the phone system match the configuration in the router. The only variable that I don't have is how many incoming digits is the Avaya looking for. I think I can find this info out...

    merlin magix

Thanks - I downloaded the file and through reaseach I think i can connect to the system when I get on site. The primary reason I need to access the system is to verify how the PRI is configured. The info I need is: NI2 or 5E (I believe it is 5E) ESF (yes or no) B8ZS ( yes or no) # of incoming...

    Busying out t1 card

i have two t1's coming into my cs1k. 1 is PRI for incoming DID and outgoing calls. 1 is T1 for incoming calls to main number. I am changing carriers and need to reconfigure the t1 as PRI. I don't want to lose any incoming calls during this process. Can I route the calls to the main number...

    Nortel CICS Software Versions

Curlycord - thanks for the info on Vonage. It is very similar to the service we are getting but does not have the call transfer capabilty. Jim - I am not the DM on who we use - I just try to make things work as much as possible. Thanks for your comment regarding Auto Dial and Speed Dial. I...

    Nortel CICS Software Versions

To claridy - I can do trunk to trunk transfer but it ties up two lines from the originating location and volume is a concern. I am using voip lines that are converted to analog to connect into my analog line cards in the Nortel phone system so I can't get a link to drop the lines. Trunk to...

    Nortel CICS Software Versions

I can't do trunk-to-trunk transfer so an alternative would be external call forward. Is external call forward supported on these software releases? I believe I have read on other threads that a MICS has to be 4.1 but I'm not sure about the CICS and if R1 T1 is higher than 4.0 on the MICS.

    Nortel CICS Software Versions

Thanks - will all these software releases support trunk to trunk transfer? If I have multiple sites and a call comes in at site 1 that is meant for site 2 instead of having the caller hang up and dial the number can i use trunk to trunk transfer to send to site 2? Could I set it up as a speed...
