I've read the instructions on how to program a Speed Dial Button but nothing works. When I press Feature and the Speed Dial Button on the phone and start dialing the number I want programmed, nothing comes up on the display. Any advice?

What does F0069 mean? I got that code when I tried to enter 1 under the 9000 command.

Yes another phone...still does not ring...just lights up and then goes to voicemail after four rings I think. So if another phone - did not ring, I would think it's something wrong with the programming on my phone?

I tired the EC6 thing again and it did not display 3 as you mentioned.

OzzieGeorge - Ok it was originally set to 0, it it now set as 1. But it's still not ringing. I tired the EC6 and that didn't seem to work. When I press 1 - which it now already says 1 - conf - I get an OK. But no prompt for a password. It now says 1 - but still not ringing. And sorry...

Oh I just wanted to mention it's actually Dterm Series E NEC phone...not D as mentioned in the original post subject. I guess it was a typo on my part.

If I get IT involved, they are just going to order me a new phone and it won't have display on it. I'd rather keep my display.
