Hi Experts, can I setup bootlist like this bootlist -m normal hdisk0 hdisk1 Where hdisk0 has my current altinst_rootvg and hdisk1 is my current rootvg. I want to do this in case my hdisk0 can't boot from altinst_rootvg. At least I can boot to my current rootvg. Thanks

Have to re-install OS again as mksysb itself is corrupt.

Respected experts, I am rebooting from altinst_rootvg then run smitty alt_clone to my old_rootvg (troubled OS) with update to different tl. Should I run following command first reducevg -d -f old_rootvg hdisk# then do the cloning or it will erase automatically? Any suggestion? Thanks-NewB

Thanks p5wizard. No luck with smitty restart64, smitty load64bit. Any application with 64bit won't work. It was ok before reboot. We had this issue once before and resolved by bosboot -ad /dev/ipldevice. Not this time. reboot manytime. Same issue. Working with vendor now.
