Archive media should be set to 3 mo, and use the tapes, but the legal issues can sometimes come in if you're subpoenaed and the audio is actually still there. I know NPX can do what you're wanting to do, as a direct response to the the shortcoming of 8.9. I know there's a way to manually do it...
There it is. On the Call Focus 3 Documentation CD, there will be a PDF on how to restore your system from total catastrophic failure. I had to rebuild my system about 6 times before I got it right. If I know it to be correct, you'll have a manual that doesn't make a whole lot of sense in places...
There should be software that came with the logger. In there is a config file, probably on the 'Enhanced SW' disk. On it should be a folder with all numbers. Inside there should be a summary.doc. If you can get the contents of that, we should be able to tell you what you have.
