    Word Error

    What version is the file being sent to you? I have seen that problem when someone sends me a "word document" in an earlier version of word that I don't have. I have also seen that problem when someone sends me a word perfect document.

    why has my monitor blown up

    I have that problem with a different type of CRT. One of the difflecting amps burned out. My best solution would be to just trash the HP monitor.

    Mail Merge Question using Word 2000

    Make sure you have header records in each of your excel worksheets. The header should be just be basic field descriptions, I.E. Name_line, Address, Last_line (City State Zip). We use this all of the time. We printed word documents, envelopes and labels this way.
