I have several phones on our CS1000 system that only show up a 4 digit DN on caller ID's when calling out to external phones, most show the whole # i.e. 845-295-**** anybody know the feature that controls this or why it may happen?
We've updated the firmware on our switch and we're able to use the USB jack for usb headsets but we can't seem to get the call control functions to work with it.. anybody have any thoughts or experience with this?
the situation is this.. one of our T1 providors screwed up and scheduled and performed a migration without scheduling a circuit to migrate to. Result T1 and phone systemdown indefinitley until they fix their problem. My temp solution ws to route the PRI over to the CS1000 for our other location...
the problem we're having is if one of the extensions in the acd group is accidentally left in an on state.. the line rings indefinitley instead of going to the voicemail assigned to the acd group.. is there a way to get the voicemail to pick up after so many rings instead of just letting it go...
is it easier to label extensions with WinSPM rather than the 20L phone? does anyone have a protocol or link to instructions to labeling the extensions? I have a old crusty system that hasn't been updated and can't use the quick access buttons.. I can't find an upgrade card and need to re-label..
do you guys have any reccomendations for a good ACD reporting and routing tool for the CS1000. We need the ability to route the ACD to voicemail and to get reporting data..

I ordered a 355a adaptor to log in to but it's a db 25 not a db9. I can't assign the com port to the db25, will a generic db25 to db9 adaptor work to plug it into the serial port instead?
I'm missing a month of call data from the reports run with the OTM!! WTF??!! I ran a collection and costing and the new data from today goes through. My data stops on 3/27/2010 and starts back up on the 3rd of this month which is today. What can cause this and is the lost data retrievable?
