Thanks for the reply. However, I'm not quite sure I follow you. There have been several dated sub-folders created lately (the like 7 or 8 days) that were named x20151207x, x20151206x, etc. Is the Aloha application doing this, and if so, why?
Thanks again...
Is there an Aloha process that would add lowercase x's to the beginning and end of the dated sub-folders? Aloha Manager is still picking up the data in those folders for reporting, so I am assuming it is an Aloha process that added them. Any ideas what they mean?
Thanks...

I would like to 'revisit' one of my threads/questions from over 3 years ago and see if anyone has any new advice....
Does anyone know how to run or 'mimic' the Aloha Refresh Data process from the command line? I have attached a link to my original thread.
Thanks!!!!
I am trying to find where the Aloha Promo validation code data is stored in the system for 3rd party reporting. We have a promo set that requires the server/manager to enter a validation code upon applying. Where is this data stored (other than the trans.log file)?
Thanks in advance...

The first question I would ask is 'what is the DOB for the system?'. There could be an issue there. Other than that, I wouldn't know. I have a contact at a different company, and he says all of his locations have data in the gchkinfo.dbf files, and it is for the correct dates.
I'm running different versions across 12 sites...versions 6.1.16 to 6.5.34. None of them have anything in the gchkinfo.dbf file. I've been digging for a setting somewhere, or an aloha.ini trigger, but have come up empty so far.
Thanks...
Thanks for the reply coorsman. I guess I could have been more clear. I'm actually looking for the information that I thought was supposed to be in the gchkinfo.dbf file...tab name or table #, and the employee id for the server/employee who opened the check. I don't see that in any of the...
It's my understanding that the gchkinfo.dbf file is supposed to contain basic check information, but it appears to be empty in all of our locations. Is this file no longer supported/used, or am I missing something?
Thanks in advance...
Thanks for the help. I've written a process (4 batch files) that allow me to quickly/easily backup the current data, copy out updated files (pro.dbf, itm.dbf, cat/cit.dbf, etc.) to newdata, delete indexes, and then run a refresh. It makes it extremely easy to distribute menu updates.
