Load Win2KSP4 install files to USB for installer.
I installed Win2000 on a netbook by copying installation files on the hard drive using netbootdisk 6.4 (netbootdisk.com). Installing Win2000 Pro on Acer Aspire One
Aspire holds an Intel Atom N270 with hyper-threading technology. WinXP sees two processors in it, but Win2000 doesn't even install. Early in the installation process it chooses multiprocessor HAL and hangs. If I tell it to use uniprocessor HAL (ACPI is a good choice) then I can install Win2000...- pfranz
