Is there a way to fill the prompt box with a default answer (which the user is able to change, of course)? Thanks, MK

Easy Excel problem(?): dynamic cell address

Ok, thanks. It looks like the right stuff, I just don't get how I can grow the range. How could I add a cell(either up or down) to a, say, single column range of five cells? I need to do that with a formula or function, not manually. Thanks again, MK

Easy Excel problem(?): dynamic cell address

=MATCH(1;E49:E52;0) Looking for number 1 with the above formula, but since the array changes from time to time, I would like to change the array address as well. Is there a way to manipulate cell addresses so that instead of fixed cell addresses I'd have two inner functions that return the...

    bo on usenet

Tried that, didn't work. I'm particularly interested in the web archives, but I get them neither because I have no password/smthng. Hmm, perhaps someone does and is willing to post it here for all to see:)?

    Conditional Prompts

Disassociate LOV from date, if feasible. If you need date's LOV later on, you can always create a copy of the date object and use it instead for this trick. Create a copy of the bill number object (BN2 from this on). In the BN2's "Where" box, create a restriction where billing# date...

Inserting rows at a specific piont in a table

I can't see why you couldn't just go ahead and insert a row below the GM row, then enter the gm/sales-formula in there. That row would then appear throughout the report in the same place...? What exactly goes wrong when you try to insert a new row?

Using User response in another prompt

Of course, you might want to try creating an alternative object into the universe that prompts you for the society. Then you should be able to prompt for the members of that society on a report level. Worked for me, at least.
