We installed the Xima version recently and it works great. You need a real server, a few licenses from Avaya, and a little planning. The product is good and their support is outstanding. Combined with their "cradle-to-grave" reporting (included) it's hard to beat.
Maybe the end for smaller dealers...I'm glad I haven't given much in the way of accurate info to Avaya regarding my accounts.
I suspect all that type of data will be given to Ring Central for their $500,000,000.
Oh well - I'm glad I'm closer to the end of my career than the beginning. The fun...
The question is why does Avaya place the onus on dealers to keep their distributors honest?
The internet has changed distribution methods whether Avaya sanctions it or not.
The "Gray Market" is here to stay.
