Update,
I am new to dns that is why the cautious approach. I have also done a look up on mail.mydomain.com and it goes totally to a different IP address not assoicated to pspmtp.com IP or website IP.
Is this another record that needs to be updated?

My MX record indicates (mydomain.com.s7a1.psmtp.com) when I do a look up.
Do I specifi only mydomain.com or mail.mydomain.com or exactly as indicated above to match mx record?
And do I change the SMTP virtual server setting under FQDN to what I have selected for PTR.

mail server on location, website hosting elswhere for the same FQDN. I believe I am having issues with reverse dns checks from these mail servers rejecting my emails.
