ISP connection problem
The latest is my friend could not solve it , he did not get to test the ping function. Reformatting & reloading Windows did it. Thanks to those persons replying above.- HappyMe

Thanks for that info. I shall try it out in 2 days time as my PC has gone to a friend to check out. What do I do if it fails TCP/IP ( ping ) test ?- HappyMe

ISP connection problem
Can't connect to any ISP. The username / password is sent & returned Ok as get 2 computers is sys tray. But when trying to use Outlook Express or IE 6 not data is sent forward to ISP. I have :- 1) re-loaded Win 98 SE 4 times 2) installed external modem 3) uninstall - control panel -...- HappyMe
