Auto-in and ACW buttons are greyed out on my R5 softphone using CM4. Hence we just used them as indicators and programed hard buttons with FAC's. The alternative was to purchase IP agent
try the AGC on the IP phones first. If that dont work you may need to look at the 2-party digital loss plan for PSTN to IP phones and maybe echo canellation settings but i never had much luck with those.
I think the PSTN group is 11 and IP phones group 18( you can check that). -3 is a 3db...
if you have say 300 ddi with BT, you can play around with any of those 300 ddi, so you can substitute sending out the main switchboard number, the voicemail pilot number etc etc.
However, if you have a second provider, say COLT, for resiliency, when you send calls out on that trunk, you cannot...
actually, it is used for changing the o/g cli. I do it for agents so that the call center number is displayed. Same with voicemail outcalling, i get teh pilot number to display.
You are correct that many countries you can only change the ddi to the ones you own with that provider.
