PCA looks like the solution to what I'm trying to do, but we don't have licenses... will have to consider if this warrants the licensing cost.
Thanks for the help.
Thanks for answering.
Yea I didn't have high hopes for that to work :-)
I have only the work done by the previous maintainer of this system to look at. He has put the "DN" as DSC and then set DN prefix as the same number as DSC in NRS and H323 Id on the ATA...
Is what I'm trying to accomplish...
Hi,
I've set up an ATA (i3micro VRG 142) for use with an analog DECT phone.
ld 87
REQ new
CUST 0
FEAT cdp
TYPE dsc
DSC 8078
FLEN 4
DSP
RRPA
RLI 2
NPA
NXX
DSC
(rest of it like this: http://www.tspforum.com/node/27)
The ATA/DECT work as expected but now I want to add the DN to a IP...
Thanks a lot everyone for your replies; I think I've got a better understanding of how stuff works now.
Probably not an option for us ATM, but I've had a look at the 1200 series... they seem very similar to the 1100 series to me.
What's the reason they are so much cheaper than the 1100 series?
I'm from Norway and it doesn't seem to be that many models on the market here; and if they require an upgrade that pretty much rules them out altogether.
That's what I feared... so basically Nortel PBX requires Nortel phones? They haven't allowed any other phone manufacturers develop "UNIStim capable" phones?
Hi,
I've been doing some searching for information about CS 1000 compatible phones but haven't found any, so I turn to you...
We're currently using IP Phone 2004 and IP Phone 1140E but have now come to the conclusion that we could probably do with simpler/cheaper phones in the future.
Does...
Well if ACD can't ring on multiple phones then it's not an option... I'm pretty happy with my current solution (if you guys in the know, doesn't see any problems with it)
Hi,
so this is what I ended up doing:
Created a new type 2500 for 3rd line and set auto dial on key02 of Set B to this (to avoid changing the other phones)
Created a new type M2616 for MCR 8077 (to sort out CFW)
(read http://www.ghtrout.com/ghtrout/files/MARP_Examples.html but couldn't figure...
Hmm, didn't think it was that easy (thought the 3rd line had to be answered)... it will ring indefinitely?
So if the above is true; could I add a type 2500 or something, with dn of 3rd line, and then just dial that to set 8077 busy? (to free up keys of the other phones)
@bigindian65
OK, thanks a lot for your help and patience. (I've only got a couple of weeks of experience...and no training :-))
@GHTROUT
Haha, and I was thinking about putting in an old clunker just for 8077... your solution is cheaper. thanks ;-)
I'm sorry, but can you elaborate... "answered via force"? and "offer to In-calls", does that mean it rings on every phone or does the system select one of them? (if In-calls is configured on each phone)
We're too far apart to hear the phones ring, but would pickup group work with multiple numbers anyway? (we don't want to pick up each others primary numbers)
As I understand ACD, there's some sort of "load balancing" going on... is it possible to configure ACD to ring on multiple phones instead?
Hi,
Setup:
Set A: IP Phone 1140E, key00 scr 8060 0 marp, key01 mcr 8077 0
Set B: IP Phone 2004, key00 scr 8232 0 marp, key01 mcr 8077 0
Set C: IP Phone 1140E, key00 scr 8061 0 marp, key01 mcr 8077 0
Problem:
The user of Set B should have the ability to be unavailable on 8077 (not be annoyed)...
