Thanks for all the suggestions. I have found a fix for my problem. I edited the hosts file in c:\WINNT\system32\drivers\etc. I just pointed the pdc to the ip address. eg: 192.168.2.4 pdc I was then able to change the computer and domain name, and now could login. Thanks for all the help.
