Sorry thought there was something strange here its a E6400 laptop not E4200 so no didk drive. My desktop of similar age saw the sandisk USB I am going to try a integral drive I have bought but did also try an older USB drive as well with no luck!

By default the stroke is on the outside of the rectangle so thats why it adds size. On the stroke pallet you have option of the stroke being outside, centre, and inside. Select inside and your rectangle stays the same and the stroke is added to the inside size.
