I found a work around for this problem. We had to add our server as a trusted site and now it works with multiple users again. Our error occured when we moved the files. See if that works for you too.
Add this to the trusted sites in internet explorer: file://servername/location
I've come across a situation where if I try to double click an MDB file on a shared network drive, nothing happens. Access doesn't start (either with
access 2000 or access 2003). the properties of the database are set for Shared.
However, I can always open it from the open menu in access...
