    That is exactly what I needed to know. Now my only problem is I don't know how to change the date/time using either the phone or the serial interface. I tried pulling the CMOS battery, but some how it retained it.

    I just had to replace the HDD in my BCM 400 3.6. I put the drive in and was able to get to the web interface just fine. Then I wen into through the serial port and initialized the HDD with all the MBMs in the system. Once initialization was done, I did the config wizard and rebooted the switch...
