Well after further tips and Help I ended up disconnecting from the box outside and calling in on the office line and same thing suggesting an outside line problem which is a relief of sorts that the Partner System seems to be fine but my Phone Company (AT&T) that i pay religiously every month...
Actually it's the other way around when I plug the residence line into the office port it works. When I plug the Office line into the Residence Port (which is working fine) I get the same symptom (hang up on 2nd Ring) Outgoing calls work on all lines.
Seems like that was a temporary fix. It is back at it again. I tried switching lines with home line and still does the same thing. I can make calls out but just can't seem to receive any. Stops after 2 rings. I tried a third line and still the same.
Any other suggestions??
Paul
Thank you for all the HELP. I ended up turning the unit off, pulling the card out and reseating and then booted back up. So far its working again, will keep an eye on it.
Thanks Again,
Paul
I pulled the offending line (home Office) and plugged a standard phone in and it worked, so I am guessing it's a Partner issue ( I disconnected the computer connection). So now we know it's a Partner issue what can I do to correct it? It seems strange that the other line works including VM no...
Brief background - I have had my Partner system (home) up with no changes with two line running currently (Home Office & Home). Recently i have been missing calls on my Office line (Home no problems). Symptom: Rings twice and then stops, I have not activated the VM on that line and never had as...
Thanks for the responses. I'll be using it (for now) strictly as a baby monitor so I won't need to hear the phone ring or even dial out for now. If I turn the volume down will I be able to hear her? I would prefer not to disconnect the speaker if I don't have to but if that's the only viable...
I have the intercom working great on all the phones, I would like to have the one in my daughters room to be used mainly as a baby monitor. When we press the assigned button for her room there is a loud beep/tone before switching over to Mic/Spk. Is there a way to turn off that sound so it...
Sorry, didn't read what you said thoroughly. Copied 57 and got rid of the flashing Green light and now have Lines 1 and 2 where they should be. Still dialing the extension though on the programmed buttons rather than getting a tone and going direct to speaker.

I have a mixture of phones right now 6D, 12, 18D (2) Euro, 18D MLS. Would the 18D's work even though they have the extra 4 buttons on top. I suppose I could try, nothing to lose.
WOW, thanks for the quick response.

P.S. - Sorry for the CAPS in the Subject
I fairly recently got a Partner ACS R6 setup with Voicemail and with help from the forums was able to get my voicemail and front door phone working without a hitch. I have now gotten two new phones (actually new USED phones) Avaya 18's. I would like to set them up in my son and daughters rooms...
So, Dexman do you have experience with this Bogen? I was actually looking at that model as it's exactly the same (looking) as the Avaya. I received my C-1000 today and sad to say it didn't work. I am looking at the Bogen ADP1 ($140), Viking W2000 ($152) , Viking W1000 ($115). Taking a Poll?
Oh NO! I'm hoping that my C-1000 will work with my existing door phone, my next step was the Bogen for the price but you just put the 'Kaibosh' on that one with your experience. i have heard good things about the viking doorphones but keep your fingers crossed for my experiment. Some how I don't...
Thanks Jim - I believe 'Dexman' mentioned the Bogen/ Avaya rebadge. If this fails I believe I might go the Bogen route (I think they price out cheaper or possibly the Viking for the WAF) I'll let you know how it turns out.

Just a 'Quickie', do you think this would work with my existing door phone. I can get it for $23 as opposed to $150 for the Doorbox.http://www.paging-solutions.com/PDFManuals/C1000A%20Doorphone.pdf
Dexman - Thanks for following up. You were right I did as you said and I heard the "Ding-Dong" so I guess I need an Avaya, Bogen or Viking. Anyone in the used Door Phone Business? I guess it's off to ebay. Once again thanks to everyone for there help.

Well, voicemail accomplished. Doorphone, not sure Syquest may be right re: Panasonic Door Speaker but I haven't given up the Ghost yet. I did #606 Doorphone Alert Extensions - Alert Doorphone 1 alert to ext 10 for a trial. I then did #604 to identify the Ext for the Doorphone (Ext 25) ... Hit...
