i wrote tech services at ZA and they sent me instructions on how to completely uninstall it. then reinstalled. so far everything looks good! we will see.

i disabled the auto start. i didnt know what RPC Service was and couldnt find it(could you explain). then rebooted. no message in log. i do have the xp compliant version apparently.

i get the following message in event viewer almost every time i start my pc. "the descripition for event id 1 in source(true vector service) cannot be found." is there something wrong? ive uninstalled ZA and reinstalled. doesnt fix. any thoughts? thks.
