Oh yeah, the two drivers that DriverAgent said were not correct were: HDAUDIO Soft Data Fax Modem with SmartCP NVIDIA HDMI Audio Device Also, I'm running XP SP2. I'm thinking maybe SP3 might fix it, but I'm not that hopeful.

The mic worked when I had Vista installed, yes. I hooked up an external mic and it works too. I tried DriverAgent, but it doesn't tell me what driver I need, it just gives me a download link which requires me to purchase a year's worth of DriverAgent downloads.
