I am trying install a split database for one of my users. The User has the Run-Time only version of Access 2000, which is fine. This particular user also has another Database Application linked to a workgroup information file for passwords etc.
My question is, how do I setup a shortcut on his...
Hi,
Please hlep me, I am really confused. I have created a number of queries and am exporting the results as new tables in another database (DB1.mdb). This database is password protected. I am also running append queries to add the newly exported information, to existing tables in the...

Sandy,
I had data in the Material Reception Table when I set up the SQL you gave me so I was able to see that it was working. Then I dediced to delete all data in the Material Reception Table and start from scratch, as if I was using the database for the first time, just to make certain there...
Thank you so much Sandy. You wouldn't believe the amount of hours I have wasted trying to get this to work and yet you made it seem so easy.

I am working on a Purchase Order Database and am trying to setup a form to handle the receipt of goods.
At the moment I have a [PO Table] for the official order details which is linked to a [PO Sub Table] by Order Number. The [PO Sub Table] handles the body of the Order. I have a separate...
930Driver,

Ben,
I am no expert, but I have a situation with a Purchase Order database I have written, where the user is limited to using a Supplier Name from a Combo Box when raising a Purchase Order. If the supplier is not in the list, I have a macro hooked up to the "OnNotInList" event which...
I am sorry that I am not much help to you, as I said, I fixed this through "dumb luck" rather than "good management". I can remember making a copy of the offending main form and replacing the one that was giving me problems. I also spent ages pouring over the links between...
This may not be of much help to you, but I have also had the same problem recently and I accidently made it stop. At one point I was so frustrated, I exported my forms, queries and tables related to what I was working on to another database. From memory, all was OK so I exported them back to...

Unfortunately because the password on this database seems to be corrupted, you are unable to import from it as there is no way of by passing the Database Password.
I was doing some development work on my db (I am only user with access to it) and I was kicked out by Access. I started file again and this message appeared, "The Database (Name) needs to be repaired or isn't a database file". I've tried to repair but I then get a message "Not a...
