    running a Perl programs

I am new to Perl and Linux. My experience is to schedule a perl program from the cron scheduler. However a new program I just created won't run through cron, so I want to run it directly from the command, but I don't know what the command is. Can someone please help?

    Peregrine announcement

That is a shame about trusted link 400. I worked with it and JDE at my last job, and you are right, they work well together. In my current job we do not have JDE, but for EDI, we use Gentran by Sterling commerce. I have read that Gentran works with JDE. You may want to check into it.

    GS04 date format

All my maps are in version 4010 on Gentran 3.1. All of the dates in GS04 are 8 characters for all maps except one. One of my maps, when I translate creates a 6 character date in GS04 and I can't figure out why, or how to fix it.
