WE Have a Contact Center with various agents scattered across multiple offices in different cities.
For the most part, I have been able to redirect local traffic, as well as 9-911, and 911 traffic to the correct switch to egress the correct PRI, but I am having a few issues with a branch...
I have multiple BCM50s, and 450s in our business along with 6 CS1000.
BCMs are all 6.0, and CS1000s are all 7.5.
We recently implemented Session Manager
We are starting to migrate some traffic to SIP from and to our Lync 2010 server using Session Manager to Proxy.
Traffic to the Lync server...
Yes, it is always the same, 16 Minutes.
I have also found that If I skip the Tandem through the CS1K, I dont have the timing issues.
Thought I had to Tandem, but apparently not.
Also thought that I had to have SIP Gateway Licensing on the BCMs, but I dont.
We have deployed a Polycom Conf Bridge using Sip integration from our CS1K. We have multiple remote BCM sites that need to be able to access the Bridge. All of our remote BCMs are on 3.0 and use H323 trunking for 4-digit office to office dialing.Currently a remote user accesses the Bridge by...

We have a BCM50 R5.0 deployed which will intermittantly get one way call path to another office site via H323 trunks.
This is one BCM out of 30 we have deployed worldwide, and one of 2 Rev 5.0s.
All BCM configurations are the same in all switches.
We have G729 set as preferred, but testing with...
I had already built the ERL, but the OSN phone would not take the OSN entry. I was getting an error message regarding VO not authorized. I found that I had to change VOLA to VOLD, and then I was able to create the OSN key. I will test tomorrow.
Thanks for the feedback.
I have a CS1KE, with a CS1K branch. The Phones at the Branch location are I2004s, registered to the CS1KE, using an ERL to send 911 traffic out the Branch trunks.
We have an OSN phone programmed on the CS1KE which works correctly, but I need to get the I2004s to notify the OSN at the Branch...
We have multiple CS1Ks, 2 of which are international. Our business is setup so that all sites worldwide have domestic DID numbers via the Domestic telco at the core site. We use H323 trunking to pass that traffic.
The International sites both have PRIs for local traffic. If the International...
Has anyone completed the CS1K upgrade to 6.0. We are scheduled for it, but want to see if anyone else has completed the upgrade and what was learned from it.
My NRS and Sig Servers are synced. We have SIP trunking that we use to support our audio bridge.
I am now being told that that I need to have Lynux based Sig servers, do you know if that is correct?
Ok, Step 7, I think that we have the SIP URI backwards.
Sig Server Private/UDP = udp - NRS L0 = CDP
Sig Server Private/CDP = CDP - NRS L1 = UDP
Do we have these backwards?
I need to assign a SIP phone to my CS1K. The Sig server is setup to enable SIP proxy / Redirect. The NRS is set up for the Proxy, and is setup to support registration, but the SMC3455 SIP client I am trying to use gives an error message, Registration error: 403 - Forbidden.
What are the steps?
Public Dialing plan is National
Public Recd 4
Default DN Length 7
Private Recd 4
Network Type CDP
Private DN 4
I am not confusing private with public
These switches are distributed worlwide from California to China.
I have multiple BCM's that I manage. Most of them have the Public OLI at 10 Digits 702xxx1234, but several of them will not allow me to enter anymore than 4 digits. How do I change the Public OLI Length.
