My cron daemon crashes sometimes at random moments. In IBM AIX they start the cron in the inittab with the respawn option. If i do this within HP-UX my cron starts a few times. Is there anybody who has the same problem or placed the cron start in the inittab ? Cheers

Hello Guys... Problems with upgrading AIX5.1 ML3 to AIX 5.3 caused some problems... We got the latest CD set from IBM and we did a migration install again and it WORKED !!!! So there must be a wonrg set of CD's out there which will cause the poblems.. ASK FOR A NEW SET OF CD'S AND UR PROBLEM...

There seems to be a disk assembly for 73Gb disks.....according to the full components list of SUN.. Thats the crazy thing......even on Google i cant find it....and if u cant find it there there's something wrong with the info most of the time
