Looking further into Novell web site found that Archive Items used to be available under Proxy in GW Ver 5.2. This was discontinued in ver 5.5, but if granted in ver 5.2 the right has been carried foreward to ver 5.5. see TID10052788. This would solve problem of Proxy right 2048.

Solution found. Use View, Filter, Messages, Contains. Look and learn, and find something new every day.

to comply with Data Protection Act issues and management concerns i need to find a quick way to search through a user's account looking for specified text strings in messages. Due to poor housekeeping some users have 000's of messages. Does any one know of a way to do this? Thanks.

Having performed some other routine maintenance work on the post office the icons have now changed to that representing "Opened discussion topic posted in a shared folder". The text is still missing and the messages are not in a shared folder.
