    Total Divided by Distinct Count

That worked perfectly. Thanks for the assistance.

    Total Divided by Distinct Count

Well I am not even sure if this can be done. I have a mock crosstab that currently looks like this: Service 1 Service 2 Service 3 Completed Opened Average This is in the Report Header and is based on summaries of formula's. I have the same thing mock crosstab in...

    Adding Formulas to Repository

I am looking for a best practice. I have around 30 formulas that are consistent through about 100 reports. Every time there is a change to one of those formulas I need to open every report and make the update. I thought formulas could be copied to the Repository but this is not the case. I...

    Targets Added to Cross-tab

Hi Lbass The months are the columns. So you would see Jan09 Feb09 Service1 Metric 1 TargetService1Metric1 Result Result Metric 2 TargetService1Metric2 Result Result Metric 3 TargetService1Metric3...

    Targets Added to Cross-tab

Does anyone have any suggestions on this? After a couple of other reports and I am back to working on this one.

    Targets Added to Cross-tab

Does anyone know of a way to add targets to a crosstab. I am using Crystal 2008. Currently the cross-tab looks like Service1 Metric 1 Metric 2 Metric 3 Service2 Metric 1 Metric 2 Metric 3 Service3 Metric 1 Metric 2 Metric 3...

    Running Totals and Grouping

I know the Running Total is incorrect in the report header so that's why I went with a summary. I recreated the running total as a formula and then did a summary on it. But when I pull that summary to the report header it is different than the summary in the group. At this point I may have no...

    Running Totals and Grouping

New update. The running total and the formula are both correct if they both appear in the footer. The issue is that the formula changes when I move it to the report header and it is no longer correct. Anyone know anyway to correct this?

    Running Totals and Grouping

Thanks LB and sorry for the delay but I had another project to complete. I am not sure why I did not try this before but I am going through the process now. It looks like it should work. However the one issue I am having is for one of the MTTF formulas that I am using the Business Days...

    Running Totals and Grouping

I have created a mock crosstab (CR2008) so that I would be able to display a value for every metric even if it was zero (current crosstab limitation). I have this displayed in the report footer and the values are calculated properly. My issue is though that I want the final totals to appear...

    SQL to Crystal

I need to know the equivalent of SQL Designer from older versions of Crystal in Crystal 2008. In version 8.5 specifically I was able to write the query separately and then have the report connect to the query. This was more efficient in a lot of scenario's for report speed and functionality...

    Scheduling Daily and Hourly

We have Crystal Reports Server 2008 and we have a need for a report to run Mon to Fri from 8 to 5 on every hour. Although the help says this can be done I have yet to see where in the scheduling this can be achieved. I have created a message to SAP support and they are currently investigating...

    Scheduling Daily and Hourly

I hope there is a better way then creating an hourly instance. And I will move this posting to the correct forum. Thanks.

    Limit in parameter values

Hi Sepie It is possible but you need to change a registry item LOV. You should have everything up to that. 1. Create a registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Business Objects\Suite 12.0\Crystal Reports\DatabaseOptions\LOV. 2. Add a string value "MaxRowsetRecords" and set the...

All Parameter and Using Saved Data

This did not work. I changed the parameter but I needed to click on apply changes. When I did so it hit the main DB again and reran the data. I think I will just manage this report as a manual export (manually exporting the pages required separately) until our server is updated. If you do...

All Parameter and Using Saved Data

Thanks Ken. No I was using the refresh and then pressing the refresh parameters. What should I set the parameter to how would I update it so that it uses the saved data set. Thanks.

All Parameter and Using Saved Data

I've created a report (CR 2008) that has 8 Parameters plus an All option. The report needs to manually run for an interim basis while we do some upgrading on our automation server. I added the All option with the intent of having the report hit the server once and then run each parameter...

4 Week Rolling Date Not working in Graph

So I put the conditions on both summaries and on the change of field but it still provides the space. To ensure the issues wasn't with one of the summaries I removed one and the additional space is still there.

4 Week Rolling Date Not working in Graph

I made the above changes and the blank bar is still there. I guess the only additional piece of information I can add is that the chart is a combined bar and line chart with 2 y axis although I don't see why that would make any difference since the chart is grouping on the 4 week date formula...
