I would like to swap the old (IDE) DVD drive that came on my Acer Aspire 5002 WLMi laptop for a new HP/ LG GSA-T20L. Can anyone tell me if it's compatible and how do I remove my old DVD drive from my Acer? It's not obvious, like unscrew from underneath. Thank you.

Do you mean install ALL of Encarta on the USB HDD? I tried putting the data folders on the USB and the exe files on the HDD and the program won't start up. I'll try installing everything on the USB drive. Thanks.

Day 6 for Chrome and I'm happy with it although I'm a FF3 fan. I crashed Chrome running flash vids too. Chrome has the ugliest interface of all the browsers and am looking for other skins.
