The user logs on to the CDE and then opens a dtterm. I want the prompt to be specific to the user that logged on, but I can't seem to force this with the .dtprofile or the .profile.

I am running AIX 3.2 and recently 2 Power PC's crashed whilst a mount to the server was open.

Eventaully back in the Office and have run your excellent script. The output is a little worrying! There are only 2 entries in the results file which are:
